| David A. Dalia has been a Louisiana attorney
for twenty-seven years, with offices in the heart of downtown New Orleans, and
with statewide clientele. Mr. Dalia has continued to practice law during the post-Katrina years, assisting many clients throughout this most uncertain historic period.
Primary areas of legal interest are in public
law issues, copyright infringement and intellectual property, the legal
problems of Museum administration, labor, longshoremen and harbor workers
cases, contracts, licenses, and contract litigation, leasing, successions,
select personal injury cases, and general civil litigation. Mr. Dalia has
litigation experience at all levels of the judicial system, including
before the United States Supreme Court.
His experience, expertise, understanding of the law and moral agenda have made him an outstanding and respected member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. In addition, his personable style, standard of excellence, diplomacy, and strict adherence to professional standards place him at the very top of the profession. Mr. Dalia’s clients have included the Louisiana State Division of Administration, Office of Facility Planning and Control, the Louisiana State Museum, the Louisiana Music Commission, New Orleans City Park and the Louisiana Museum Foundation. Mr. Dalia serves on the Advisory Committee for the Louisiana Supreme Court Law Library, and the Advisory Committee for the Tulane University College Paralegal Program. Mr. Dalia also represents screenwriters, songwriters, injured workers, musicians, longshoremen, visual artists, non-profit corporations, and other individuals, businesses, and families.
